No, you are not obligated to commit to a number of sessions.
We do not bill insurance, although we will provide you with a computer generated “Insurance Claim Form” for you to mail to your insurance company for reimbursement. Our office staff is available to help guide you with your insurance questions.

If you feel that your therapist isn't the right fit for you, our staff will assist you in making a change in your therapy. Our goal is to provide the best possible treatment. Other referrals will be given if needed.
No, our therapists are not medical doctors and cannot write a prescription. You will need to go to your primary care physician or a psychiatrist. If a patient needs to be referred for possible medication to treat disorders such as anxiety, depression, or ADD/ADHD, your therapist will assist you in coordinating with your doctor.
Yes. You can be assured that all information disclosed in therapy is strictly confidential. All communications between you and your therapist will be held in strict confidence unless you provide written permission to release information about your treatment. There are exceptions to confidentiality. For example, therapists are required to report instances of suspected child or elder abuse. Therapists may be required to break confidentiality when they have determined that a patient presents a serious danger of physical violence to another person or when a patent is dangerous to him or herself. Please know that this happens very infrequently in our practice.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is built on the knowledge that our behavior and feelings are the direct result of the way we think. The power of the therapy is built on the fact that we are able to change the way we think, therefore, we are able to change the way we behave and feel. When we change, the changes we make force everyone in relationship to us to change. The result, we have the power to influence our relationships in a positive manner.
